BioLite’s new FirePit+ portable grill and fire pit
BioLite has become a popular company for setting up backyard bonfires. The company’s newest product, the FirePit , is a great option as a centerpiece for cooler nights spent outdoors.
These firepits have many advantages. They are lightweight at just 20 lbs. They can be easily moved, no matter if you want to keep the firepit at your home or take it with you. It’s easy for you to lift the firepit into your car and to take it on your next camping trip. The legs of the pit fold down, making it even more portable.
These pits are almost smokeless so you don’t have to do the smoke-avoidance dance at every bonfire. The pits will still keep insects and mosquitoes away from your gathering, even without the smoke.
The FirePit includes a grill grates attachment for the top of your pit. This allows you to use it as a portable grill. For an outdoor cooktop, you can throw some hot dogs or skewers on the top. The pit can burn both charcoal and firewood, so you can choose your fuel depending on the activity. Unique to the device is its mesh surround. It lets in enough air to keep the fire burning and creates a stunning visual of the fire in the pit. The FirePit also features 51 airjets that add oxygen to the fire to help it grow and maintain.
The FirePit ‘s most unique feature is the ability to adjust the flame size via the free app. This app connects to your phone through Bluetooth and allows you to control the firepit’s temperature. This is an optional feature. Users still have the ability to manually control the flames, but once the firepit is set up, you can adjust the settings from the comfort of your camp chair.
BioLite has made many upgrades to this latest release. This includes adjusting the design to better radiate heat outward and better distribute heat. The new product has a high temperature enamel coating that lasts longer than previous versions. An upgraded battery allows for longer burn times. This is a great addition to BioLite’s impressive product line and will be a focal point of many backyard memories.
